Whether you are a beginner or an accomplished model builder, you need the right tools. Having the proper equipment will make the building process easier and faster. Some starter kits do come with some basic, but if you are planning to do more kits, it’s a good idea to invest in a good range of quality tools.

Having a self-healing cutting mat that will prevent slips while also protecting your table or work bench is important. Sharp scissors with a pointed tip, pliers and tweezers for handing and removing small pices along with a good hobby knife are all important tools. Sanding sticks, glues and adhesives are a must, and don’t forget the clips and pegs or tape to hold parts while they dry.

Some kits will include the paints, but as you progress, you will want to add more paints and brushes to your supplies.
