Army Warpaints Fanatic Metallics
Warpaints Fanatic Metallics are a stalwart for hobbyists of all kinds. The Metallic paint is non-toxic and water-based. It has a unique formulation that provides amazing coverage and a dazzling shine.
The Army Painter Metallic range utilises a specialised blend of aluminium flake and mica for the best combination of coverage and sheen. This makes it more shimmery than traditional metallic paints as well as providing better coverage. You will really notice this when painting with paints where you would traditionally apply multiple layers to achieve great coverage, like gold.
There are 18 metallic paint colours in The Army Painter Warpaints Fanatic range. So there is sure to be a colour that meets the needs of your next project. And if not, the Metallics paints mix effortlessly with each other, so you can create your own unique colour using any combination you desire.
How To Use:
Warpaints Fanatic is a high-quality acrylic paint for models and miniatures. It has an incredibly dense pigment formulation set in a premium resin base with proprietary stabilizers. This ensures a smooth, effortless application. They can be thinned to extreme levels, while retaining pigment dispersion.
Flexible Colour Triad System
The entire Fanatic range offers more than 200 colours designed in a Flexible Colour Triad System. With the Flexible Colour Triad System, every paint fits into a segment, or family, of paint colours that are made using the same root colour. Each segment is called a Flexible Triad and inside this segment you’ll find six paints that range in tone from dark to light with a consistent hue. This makes it easy and simple to select the perfect paint.
Before painting / using: Shake the bottles well!
As paint tends to separate, we recommend you follow the two steps below to ensure your paints have the right consistency:
- Step 1: Shake the bottle well (approx. 30 seconds).
- Step 2: Squeeze out a tiny bit of paint to check the consistency – if it still separates, shake the bottle a few seconds more.
Repeat Step 1 and 2 until the paint is evenly mixed and you are ready to go.
3-in-1 Colour Primer
A Colour Primer is a must-have for any hobbyist. The Primer is both a durable primer and highly pigmented basecoat in one. The paint dries very quickly and leaves every detail on the miniature in excellent condition.
