Vallejo Surface Primers
Vallejo Surface Primers are available in a range of basic shades most frequently employed to prepare the surface of the model or miniature before starting the painting process. Primers can be applied on all surfaces, resin, PVC, brass, white metal or wood. The primer preserving even the smallest detail of a model, and improves the adherence of the colors applied on this base. It is recommended to apply the Primer in various layers; the product dries rapidly and forms a homogenous film of extraordinary strength and resistance within a few hours after application. Primers can be used directly or diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner of Flow Improver. If you are airbrushing with these colours, the recommended compressor air pressure is at 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. It is also recommended to use the Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner.
Use with Model Air Acrylics
Vallejo Model Air Acrylics are a Matt acrylic paint that is water-based and especially formulated for airbrushing. Each colour is based on extensive research by our experts of the existing and previous military references. So it offers the modeler the highest possible historical accuracy.
Model Air is used directly or diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to first prime the surface, and then apply Model Air in several layers.
The colours dry rapidly and form a homogenous paint film of extraordinary resistance while preserving even the smallest detail of the model.
